Android Police has published images from a pre-release version of Google Play Store with the new Material Design that will launch alongside Android L.
At the Google I/O event in June, Google shared its vision to offer a complete overhaul of the Android UI, introducing 5000 new APIs and a focus on unifying user experience across platforms using the new Material Design Language.
The language will blend improved typography, bright colors and flat icons with a set of new animations and layered UI to allow developers to give user a fresher experience and also experiment with the functionality of the app.
You can see some of the improvements in the images below, although do keep in mind that this is from a pre-release build so this may not be the final look.
