Apple has always maintained that its Apple TV is simply a hobby than a fully concentrated product for the company. Well, I guess that has changed.
Yesterday, Apple promoted the Apple TV as a full product line on its website alongside Macs, iPads, iPods, and iPhones. Previously, Apple TV was tucked under as an accessory in the iPod department. Apple TV now has its own dedicated AppleCare, refurbished, and community question/answer sections.
This comes after rumors of Apple working on a new version of the Apple TV, which will be more of a set-top-box with a revamped UI based on iOS, and will be capable of running apps and games, as well.
If Apple releases a set-top-box-like Apple TV, would you interested in buying one? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
