Lenovo today announced the availability of the Yoga Tablet in the UAE, the company’s first foray into the tablet market.
The Android-powered tablet comes in both 8″ and 10″ models, and will retail for AED 1,299 and AED 1,599 respectively. The Yoga Tablet also boasts three usable modes, named as hold, tilt and stand. The ‘hold’ mode utilizes the Yoga’s cylindrical edge to make for a more comfortable grip when reading content on the tablet in portrait mode (similar to how you would hold a magazine). The ’tilt’ mode elevates the tablet slightly to make for easier on-screen typing, while the ‘stand’ mode props the tablet up on its integrated kickstand for viewing multimedia. The Yoga Tablet also boasts a battery life of up to 18 hours, though this of course depends on usage.
We’ll be getting our hands on a unit soon, so stay tuned for our review.
