Ask any designer and they’ll tell you that their creative space is shared between old fashioned sketches on paper and digital ones down on a tablet or digitizer. For the large portion of people who design using a tablet, the biggest hurdle has always been what to design with. Most tablets don’t come with an accompanying stylus, so designing on them can be a bit of a challenge.
That’s all set to change with Pencil, an innovative new stylus that aims to improve the design process on tablets. Looking very much like a traditional (albeit oversized) pencil, the stylus allows users to quickly pair the device with their tablet and start drawing using a varied of digital smart tips. Made a mistake? Simply flip Pencil over and erase away with the other end, much like you would with a regular pencil. This natural method means no fiddling around with extra icons or tools, resulting in inhabited creativity.
Pencil is available in two styles, Walnut and Graphite, and is priced at $59.95 and $49.95 respectively.
