Moving away from Samsung who made the first generation Nexus 10.
A report from Digitimes is saying that Google might close a deal with HTC to make its next Nexus 10 device. HTC first ventured in the world of Android tablets with its own HTC Flyer and HTC Jetstream models – which was met with lukewarm reception. Considering that HTC has been struggling with its own smartphone business in the past year, it could be a make or brake situation for the Taiwanese company.
Additionally, despite the impressive specifications of the first generation Nexus 10, it wasn't much of a hit compared to the Nexus 7. The report also mentioned that HTC was initially approached to make the Nexus 7 but when they turned it down, Google was forced to approach Asustek.
