After Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer announced his retirement this part August, speculations were rife as to who will chair the coveted position next. However, it seems Microsoft may found their man.
According to a report from Bloomberg, the company is ready to announce Satya Nadella as their new chief exective officer. Nadella currently is the Vice President of the Cloud and Enterprise division, which develops the backend technology behind Xbox Live, OneDrive, Skype, and more.
The report also claims that the board are also considering replacing Bill Gates as Microsoft's chairman with John Thompson, who is the company's lead director.
While Microsoft has remained mum on the recent rumors, as expected, they did previously commit to naming their new CEO by early 2014. Looks like we have sit this one out.
