According to invites sent to US publications, Sony is preparing to launch a new 'slim' product at an event.
The invite reads, "Following the biggest launch in PlayStation history, join us for an introduction to the slimmest." The event will be held on January 30.
If we are to speculate, this could be the western announcement for the PS Vita Slim, which is already available in Japan. The PS Vita Slim is 20 percent thinner and 15 percent lighter.
A more bold predication could be a new digital-only PS Vita which almost exclusively supports PlayStation Now, but that's unlikely to happen. At least not yet.
We will keep you updated when we have more on this.
