Western Digital today introduced its new My Cloud family of personal cloud solutions to the market. WD’s My Cloud is a complete solution for users to organize, centralize and secure digital content from all of their computers and mobile devices and access those files from any device. Once a My Cloud personal cloud drive is connected to the Internet, consumers get the anywhere, any-device access they can get from the public cloud, without having to pay monthly fees or giving up control of their personal data.

My Cloud comes with Gigabit Ethernet as well as an updated USB 3.0 port at the back for expanded storage or backup. Users can access their device from anywhere in the world through the free WD app available on iOS and Android. Files can easily be stored or downloaded to and from My Cloud, as well as shared with other users securely via email through a simple download link. My Cloud will also integrate with other existing public cloud services such as DropBox, SkyDrive, and Google Drive.
My Cloud will be available at select retailers across the Middle East by the 1st of December. The MSRP is US$160.00 for 2 TB, US$200.00 for 3 TB and US$240 for 4 TB.
