Sony has revealed a new PS Vita at its PlayStation event in Tokyo, Japan.
The new PCH-2000 Vita model is 20 percent thinner and 15 percent lighter. The battery has also been upgraded to last one hour longer. Interestingly, the new model will use an LCD instead of an OLED screen.
The new Vita will go on sale in Japan on October for approx. $200. It will be available in six different colors, namely white, blue, yellow, pink, grey, and black.
Sony did not announce any plans to release the new Vita outside of Japan, as of yet.
